Description: Photograph taken January twelve, 1913 soon following Natsuyo arrived here from Japan to marry her childhood good friend, Utaro, who had arrive to The united states in 1902 at the age of seventeen. Mr. Shimasaki was extremely energetic in the Auburn Japanese group. He taught himself to examine, write and speak English and acted as an interpreter for numerous Japanese-American people.
