It is not very common to have adults suffering from acne after they have exceeded puberty. Not too strangely, this does happen, and when it does, most professionals put it down chiefly as the feature of any underlying condition. In ladies it might be something as natural as such as pregnancy, and overall, it can be any number of disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome or the Cushing?s syndrome, which is very rare. Estradiol is a hormone in women that helps to prevent, or at least control acne. When they reach menopause, the hormone ceases as well, and they should have others within them sprout up to supplement their loss. When this does not happen, they could then also begin to sprout acnes all over.
