MARTIN: We've been hearing your poetic tweets on this program as part of our celebration of National Poetry Month. We've been asking you to send us poems that are no more than 140 characters through Twitter. We've received more than 500 responses from all over the country.
Today, a tweet from Pat Allen. She tells us she is a wife, a mom and a grammy. She's been a teacher, a social worker and a grant writer who lives in Tarboro, North Carolina.
