ED ANGER SAYS: EAT MORE CHICK-FIL-A | Weekly World News

I?m?madder than a gay rooster stuck in a hen-house about this Chick-fil-A thing.

These gays are kicking my acid reflux into high gear with this talk about boycotting Chick-fil-A.

What do they have against chickens? ?We?re not eating gay chickens! ?And, by the way, there are no gay chickens!? What came first the gay chicken or the egg? ?The egg!? Now, hard-boil that you America-hating poultroons.

Marriage is between a man and a woman.? Period. ?That?s it. ?End of story. ?If you don?t like it go to some island in the Bali Hai Pacific ?and marry whatever kind of freak you want ? just don?t do it around me or the USA.

?I do? is between one man and one woman. ?That?s the way it?s been since Eve was made from Adam?s rib. Two men doing the ?I do? makes me throw up the tuna fish ?I just had for lunch. ? Two women? ?Well, I?m like any red-blooded American and I?m all for two women kissing? but they don?t get to do the ?I do? either. ? Nope, not while ole Ed is still alive and belching.

So what does this all have to do with chicken anyway?

It?s that moron Rahmbo Emanuel in Chicago who kicked up this shitstorm. ?Where does he get off telling Christians to stop eating chicken? ? We don?t tell him to stop kissing Obama?s chocolate ass, where does he get off telling us what to put in our stomachs? ?If you ask me the whole thing is because he?s short. ?Guy has a Napoleon complex. He?s barely taller than my grandson, Teddy, who just turned six.

Rahm can kiss my ass. ?I?m going to eat Chick-fil-A every day until there?s no more chickens on the planet and then I?m going to go after the cows. ?Because we who believe in traditional marriage will eat all the chickens and cows and pigs we want. ?The gays are not going to stop us. ?We?ll eat it all until they go away!

Look at this yummy sandwich:

If you don?t want some of that good-lickin? chicken then you ain?t American!

Ed is calling on everybody to eat Chick-fil-A. ? It?s time to put a stop to gays getting married and time to stand up for traditional marriage!

If you?re on the side of traditional American values ? and you better be! ? then get off your butt and get out there and eat some chickens!

An Easy Way to Track the 'Giving Pledge' - The Giveaway - The ...

For major-gift fundraisers and aficionados of the super rich and their charitable impulses, the Foundation Center has something for you: a new Web page profiling the 81 wealthy families who?ve joined the ?Giving Pledge.?

The pledge was hatched by Bill & Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett to encourage their fellow billionaires to give. People who sign on must commit to donating at least half their net worth; for the 81 families, that amounts to roughly $200-billion.

The Foundation Center?s ?Eye on the Giving Pledge? profiles those 81 megaphilanthropists and slices some data on the donors. It finds, for example, that the biggest share of donors (35 percent) are 65 to 79 years old. Health causes are the most favored by the donors, followed by human services and education.

More of the Giving Pledge members made their money in banking and investments (29 percent) than in other industries.

For more on the Giving Pledge, read this Chronicle?article?on its unveiling and listen to an interview with Bill Gates about the pledge. You can also learn more about big donors from our annual Philanthropy 50 database profiling the nation?s most generous donors and our list of publicly announced gifts of $1-million or more.

CyanogenMod shelves ICS/Jelly Bean support for Snapdragon S1 devices

Android Central

The CyanogenMod team has announced that it won't be able to officially support phones powered by first-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon chips in version 9 or 10 of its popular custom firmware. The CM team broke the news on Google+, where it revealed that a combination of hardware limitations and concerns for user experience quality were behind the decision. This means many older Android handsets that shipped in Q1 and Q2 2010, such as HTC's Nexus One, Desire and EVO 4G, will not see official CyanogenMod 9 or 10 builds, and will have to look elsewhere for their ICS or Jelly Bean fix. All affected devices will continue to be supported on the Gingerbread-based CyanogenMod 7.x branch, the team says.

Explaining the technical issues behind the decision, CM highlighted the good old Nexus One. In order to run CM9 or 10, the phone's internal memory would need to be repartitioned, and even then the lack of certain proprietary code for the phone's SoC (system-on-a-chip) would've made for a janky user experience -- "the pieces just aren't there." The team notes that it wouldn't be impossible to get ICS or Jelly Bean running on this hardware, but that doing so could break third-party application support because of the hackiness of the code involved.

If you still want Android 4.x on your Nexus One, you'll certainly be able to do so on other custom ROMs (and unofficial CM builds), though you'll sacrifice stability in order to do this. It's unfortunate, but when you remember that most of these phones shipped more than two years ago on Android 2.1 or earlier, it's not all that surprising.

We've got the full list of affected devices after the break.

Home ? Free Scripts ? Business Website Offers Real Estate Marketing Ideas To Help Realtors Use Social Media Effectively

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) July 31, 2012

In the current distressed real estate market, realtors and real estate agencies are constantly searching for effective Real Estate Marketing Ideas. Chris Jordan of OverTheWeb.com, a free informational website for small to medium sized business owners, recently announced a section of their website dedicated to an effective Social Media Training Program.

Along with most businesses today, the majority of realtors and real estate brokers report the internet as being the top source for most new business. An effective internet marketing strategy is crucial. Most are struggling with social media and how to use it effectively. The truth is that the users on most social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are there for personal reasons and it is extremely difficult to market to them. However, there is one site, Linked In, strictly dedicated to doing business and surprisingly, it is often overlooked and underutilized even though it is the #1 site for business professionals. It is a powerful and free tool that can be used to grow any business including real estate, and that is where the training focuses on.

OverTheWeb.com focuses on a variety of business related topics and most of the articles and posts come from their readers requests. We get a lot of requests for topics on search engine optimization and social media marketing. I have friends and a family member that are realtors and were quite frustrated with trying to make it work. So I did some research on the subject, found the #1 expert in the field and decided to post an article with the information on how to access the program.

The program focuses on social media strategies such as how to optimize your Linked In profile, get found for crucial keywords, leveraging Linked In recommendations, gain exposure through groups and much more.

For more information, visit OverTheWeb.com or go directly to the Social Media Training Program page.

THE RACE: Texas race shows Tea party strength

The easy victory of Houston lawyer Ted Cruz in the Republican U.S. Senate runoff in Texas shows the tea party movement remains a potent force in American politics.

It also highlights an anti-establishment frustration among voters, especially grass-roots conservative activists, which could influence national elections in November.

Cruz, a tea party favorite, defeated Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst by 13 points Tuesday, even though most of the Texas GOP establishment ? including Gov. Rick Perry ? backed Dewhurst.

Cruz, 41, a former state solicitor general and son of a Cuban immigrant father, faces Democratic state Rep. Paul Sadler in November's general election to replace retiring Republican Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

But Texas hasn't elected a Democrat to statewide office in nearly two decades, and it's widely assumed Cruz will win.

President Barack Obama campaigned Wednesday in Ohio, with stops planned in Mansfield and Akron. Republican challenger Mitt Romney, back from a rocky overseas trip, was to campaign on Thursday in Colorado.

But his campaign was running a new television ad in Ohio attacking Obama's support for the auto industry bailout and blaming him for dealership closures across the state.

Polls show a continuing tight race between Obama and Romney, raising the importance of swing states like Ohio.

The tea party scored major gains in 2010 congressional races although has had mixed successes since. But it managed a big win in May when it toppled veteran Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind.

Cruz, who won the support of conservative Republicans, including ex-Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, has called for tougher immigration laws, cutting taxes, sharp reductions in federal spending and curtailing the powers of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Tea-party-backed lawmakers generally have resisted compromising on a range of budget and deficit issues. That could complicate navigating past a slew of upcoming fiscal deadlines, no matter who is elected president.

Reid, Boehner announce stopgap spending pact

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nev., announces to reporters on Capitol Hill in Washington, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, that he and GOP House Speaker John Boehner have reached an agreement to keep the government running on autopilot for six months when the current budget year ends on Sept. 30. (AP) ? The top Republican and Democrat on Capitol Hill have announced an agreement to keep the government running on autopilot for six months when the current budget year ends on Sept. 30.

The announcements by Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and GOP House Speaker John Boehner are aimed at averting any chance of a government shutdown this fall. The legislation will pass in September.

The deal would also lighten the crush of business in a post-election congressional session agenda that's already overloaded.

"The speaker and I and the president have agreed that we're going to fund the government for the next six months," Reid said. "It'll provide stability for the coming months."

The agreement would fund the government at levels called for by last summer's budget and debt pact between Boehner and President Barack Obama.

While precise details will be ironed out over the August congressional recess, the deal embraces spending at a total annualized rate of $1.047 trillion for the day-to-day operations of Cabinet departments like the Pentagon and other federal agencies.

"We are encouraged that both sides have agreed to resolve this issue without delay," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in a statement. "The President has made clear that it is essential that the legislation to fund the government adheres to the funding levels agreed to by both parties last year."

That's a retreat for Republicans, who had sought to cut $19 billion below the budget agreement reached last summer with President Barack Obama and shift $8 billion more from domestic agencies to the Pentagon. The alternative of risking a government shutdown just weeks before Election Day was an unacceptable alternative to GOP leaders who want to keep the spotlight off of Congress and on the presidential race in the weeks running up to Nov. 6.

A House GOP leadership aide said the decision to take the issue of a government shutdown "off the table" was intended to keep the larger focus on jobs and the economy, where Republicans think Obama has failed and is most politically vulnerable. The aide required anonymity because he or she was assessing the political considerations of the decision and was not authorized to do so publicly.

The six-month funding bill, known as a "continuing resolution" in Washington parlance, punts a huge number of decisions into the lap of the next Congress and whoever inhabits the White House. If Mitt Romney is president, he has promised immediate 5 percent across-the-board cuts to most domestic appropriations accounts funded by Congress every year. Obama vows to live within the 10-year spending "caps" agreed to last year.
